  6. So happy for you Ada Bea! I'd like a new sewing machine, but as i'm a basic beginner, don't know whether I could justify the cost? What do you think, I have an old machine that keeps going wrong and a 97 year old manual singer, so i'm never going to progress very far on those really!

Lovely, happy, bright springy post ... just what we need to blow the wintry cobwebs away!

Have a fun weekend with your lovely new baby ...

    Love Claire xxx

Look forward to seeing how it dose..

  39. .Just found your blog via the attic24 site! Wow you have the same Janome model as me, got mine 4 years ago and it's great for quilting with the large gap to stuff the quilt 'sandwich' through, when you reach that exciting stage. I've used cotton wadding in the past and its definitely worth the cost to complement all your hard work. After all a quilt isn't just for this year, it's forever! Have got some vintage sheeting type fabric you are welcome to if you wish. Just e-mail me and I will post it to you.
